Obie Trice left Shady Records back in June of 2008 after releasing two albums, ‘Cheers’ and ‘Second Rounds On Me’. He dropped a track called ‘Giant’ in 2008 which hinted that he left the label because of Shady Records’ distributing label, Interscope. Now Obie is making some business moves and starting his own record label called Black Market Entertainment LLC. Obie told AllHipHop that the label was started in hopes to discover new artists from Detroit, “Recognition for Detroit artists is a must, and Black Market Entertainment will be a conduit,” he said. Black Market Entertainment will be officially launched today in Detroit at Via Notre and the whole Shady crew is expected to attend including Eminem, Dr. Dre, D12, and Royce da 59. Eminem is also confirmed to make an appearance on Trice’s new album titled ‘Bottom’s Up’ so it seems there was no bad blood between the two after Obie’s departure. It’s also evident that Obie is keeping the alcohol theme rolling with the title of his new album.

Obie launched his first solo album called ‘Special Reserve’ last December with Canadian Producer MoSS. The album was released on MoSS’s label called Mossappeal Music.

There is no official release date yet for ‘Botom’s Up’ but it will drop sometime in 2010 and I am no doubt looking forward to it! Cheers mates.

I pretty much grew up in Boston but Benzino is so bad I simply can’t support his artless lyrics and rhymes. The former Source co-owner and long time enemy of Eminem has recently focused on a new target, Slim Shady’s on and off comrade, Royce Da 5′9. According to HipHopDX, Benzino called Royce a”bench warmer” and warned him to “watch his mouth” in his new track “Break to Build“. ”I got a percentage of the team, you’re a bench warmer,” Benzino spit.

Supposedly Benzino laid down the track to answer to Royce’s track “No Coming Back From That” which will be released on his upcoming album Bar Exam 3.

Royce heard the track and was quoted saying on his twitter that his new album Bar Exam 3 was going to be “full of drama”.

Raekwon was featured in Benzino’s diss track without his consent and was quoted saying on his twitter, ”For the record, I wanna say I take no part in nobody’s diss song”. ”I just sent them a verse that’s it. That’s between them brothers. Keep me outta it,” Rae tweeted.
