Well, Slim was first scheduled to play a major role in an upcoming flick entitled ‘Southpaw’ about a boxer who tries to stage a comeback inside and outside the ring. However, sources have indicated that the project has been temporarily put on hold since Slim is concentrating on his musical career.

“He’s focusing on his music right now, so while he’s doing that, while he’s in that space, he wanted to put this on hold for the time being, “said Eminem’s spokesman in The Detroit Press this week.

I say it’s a great decision on Eminem’s part as you can’t rush a masterpiece. Carry on Slim, carry on.

Slim gave this statement to MTV News: “Adam Yauch brought a lot of positivity into the world and I think it’s obvious to anyone how big of an influence the Beastie Boys were on me and so many others. They are trailblazers and pioneers and Adam will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, Mike D., and Ad-Rock.”

Adam may be gone but his legacy lives on in every artist or fan who has been inspired by his trailblazing work with the Beastie Boys over the years.

Though the young lady bears a strong resemblance to the rap superstar, Eminem’s manager immediately denied that Hailie had a twitter account of her own. By the afternoon of the next day, the alleged page was removed.

Whether it was indeed Hailie or not is immaterial as even celebrities, especially their beloved family members, need privacy too and we all need to respect that. I understand the fascination but a line has to be drawn somewhere.

When asked by The Rolling Stone Magazine about who he would like to work with, Jared had this to say: “I’d love to do something with Eminem. That would be pretty mindblowing.”

Well, it isn’t the first time that the stadium rockers have worked with a rap star as it can be recalled that they’ve collaborated with Kanye West on their single ‘Hurricane’ off of their third studio album. This is actually an intriguing proposition and I’m actually excited of how Slim would attack it. Should be fun.

Ice-T interviews notable rap acts in this documentary including of course Eminem, Nas and other legends. If you love rap or Eminem, there’s no reason why you wouldn’t dig this. This is a great piece of film making and it should give rap/hip hop junkies a more profound perspective of the musical genre that changed the world.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are looking at the idea closely with the hologram’s creators AV Concepts and Digital Domain along with 2pac’s mother to develop the concept into a much bigger scale. The possibilities for this project are endless and if ever a full-blown stadium tour would come to fruition, a bevy of hip hop artists are expected to be on board including Eminem, 50 Cent and WIZ KHALIFA among others.

You heard me correctly, I was there and I wasn’t imagining things. Eminem did appear with Dr. Dre onstage– confirming once and for all the rumored appearance that blew up in the lead up to the festival. 2pac did provide an eerie performance at Coachella—in a $100,000 hologram form no less!  Snoop Dogg appeared next to a lifelike image of the late rapper and together they performed ‘Amerikka’s Most Wanted’ much to the stunned look of the crowd.

What was really evident is how much hard work was put into this performance. The set, the lights, and the sound were the best I’ve ever seen and heard in my life.  Mad props to everyone involved, your hard work certainly showed.

Believe it or not that was actually my first time seeing Eminem live! This site has been up for around 12 years and somehow I just haven’t had the chance to make it to one of his shows so it was truly a dream come true for me. To say that Coachella was amazing is the understatement of the century. You have to be there to really feel the electricity emanating from that place.  I am incredibly grateful that I was able to be part of something so epic.  Watch the videos of Eminem and Tupac hologram performance below and be prepared to be blown away!
