Facts: Proof was the man behind creating the group D12 with Eminem.  He won the 1999 Source Unsigned Hype Award. In 2004 he put out a solo mixtape album “I Miss the Hip Hop Shop.” In 2005 he dropped his solo album “Searching For Jerry Garcia.” On April 11, 2006, Proof was fatally shot and killed in Detroit. He was 32 years old.  At his funeral it was said that Eminem and Proof had a “friendship of a lifetime”. Eminem also said “Proof, he loved                                                     people, and people loved him. He was just a people magnet. When you first met him, you                                                     wanted to know more about him.”  Eminem now has a large tattoo on his forearm in                                                             memory of Proof.
