There only one thing I like less than heavy metal music and that’s…wait…sorry, I apologize there is nothing I hate more than heavy metal. I find it surprising that somehow there are even enough heavy metal fans to knock Eminem’s “Recovery” album off the top of the billboard charts after five weeks of dominating. Unfortunately, Avenged Sevenfold, a band from Huntington Beach, California, sold 163,000 copies of its new album, “Nightmare”, while Eminem’s “Recovery” came in at a close second with 159,000 copies sold according to Nielsen SoundScan. I mean just look at these guys, they all look like Edward Scissorhands but not even close to as cool.
Rick Ross’s album, “Teflon Don”, which has some stellar tracks on it fell to the number three spot. At number four is Justin Bieber’s, “My World 2.0″ who has some super flamboyant hair.
On a separate note, Nielson reported that total album sales for the year are at 174.9 million, down 12 percent from the same period last year. Pirating is sure taking it’s toll.

I look at this from a weird angle. I love Avenged Sevenfold, and I love Eminem.
I listen to all kinds of music, and I just wish that people would learn to love everything!
On one hand: Avenged Sevenfold’s ‘Nightmare’ is an amazing album, if you bothered to listen, and KNOW what it’s about. They lost their drummer on Decemeber 28th, 2009. The guy on the far right (looking at the screen).
Most of the music featured on that CD is about Jimmy (their drummer), but he had part of his music recorded when he died, so they got his favorite drummer to jump in and play what Jimmy had written, and finished the album with Mike Portnoy.
On the other hand: Eminem raps about life, and real shit. The reason I like his music is because he raps about real content, that people deal with every day of their lives.
I swear to god, if you listened to music for the fact that it’s MUSIC, you’d understand my opinion better, but I think that there’s a big similarity in the lyrics, and what’s behind the music by both Avenged Sevenfold, and Eminem.

Ok I’m not really sure what all this talk about heavy metal, and rap music is but I’m pretty sure since this is an eminem site we should stick to talking about eminems. So for what it’s worth I like the peanut eminems the best and peanut butter eminems come at a close second. Third I’d have to go with peanut butter peanut eminems which are a rarity, and finally some of those fancy eminems that they started selling but probably haven’t taken off. I don’t think there’s much to be said about the regular eminems except that only people with mild peanut allergies like them better (they’re made in the same factories so there’s probs peanut residue in them). The thing is the peanut eminems have such a great texture and due to the fact they have a peanut in them they tend to be larger, and sometimes I think they add more chocolate to compensate for the peanut. Anyways lets just be thankful that Mars candy still bothers to make this tasty little treats and sites like this can bring us fans together to discuss how much we love them.

To the writer of the blog post: Shut your mouth and do some research.
First off, have you even listened to their latest album? It’s diverse. Songs anywhere from slow ballads to heavy metal songs. I, personally, don’t like heavy screamo songs (they only have on in the album — remember, *diversity*) but I love this album because there’s plenty for me to listen to.
You are also clearly uninformed as to how hard A7X has worked to put this album out. Their drummer died about year ago (R.I.P. The Rev) and they changed the whole tone of their album as a tribute to him. Can’t you let A7X savor this? They hoped this album would reach #1 because this was The Rev’s final album. The fact that you didn’t know this and wrote your blog post in such an insulting manner, to me and many A7X fans, is just as bad as the first comment (which was definitely not necessary).
To Eminem fans talking shit about A7X fans: You like your music, we love ours. We are not all emos who cut ourselves and wear raccoon eyeliner. We just so happen to love rock music, is that so bad? Or are you guys *really* that intolerant to people who love something different than you do?
To the A7X fans who are insulting Eminem’s rap: Stop. Eminem is at the top of his genre just as much A7X is. You look like hypocrites.

I have listen to Avenged Sevenfold’s Nightmare, and for a metal album it’s really bad… it’s not even close to good. it’s simply boring. there are a lot of metal that is good, but I am sorry to say that Avenged Sevenfold is not one of the bands that even come close to be called good in my book… I was really suprised that they got the number one spot.
if you want to listen to some really good metal than you can try dir en grey(japan) or Nightwish(Finland) They are a bit different though.. but at least they aren’t boring.
And when it comes to Eminem’s recovery I really like the album.. Now I can’t say that I am a “rap-head” ’cause I can’t listen to Jay-Z, Drake and such without wanting to turn it of… but there are some rappers I like: Busta Rhymes(at least some tracks), 2Pac, slaughter house, ludacris, nate dogg(don’t know if he counts though). Good rap for me is when a good beat is combined with really good lyrical flow… and personally I think Eminem has that.

Just me talking here but Recovery is a damn good album I have been listening to that for a while now. I have also been listening to Avenged Sevenfolds new album and it is damn good. I listen mostly to metal but when I listen to rap I listen to Eminem. Just don’t sweat what anybody says. Pick who you want to listen to. Music isn’t about fighting. I love both Avenged Sevenfold and Eminem.

Now I must admit, I found the post to be a little aggressive but after all, this is a site for eminem. Also, I agree with the comment above that peanut butter peanut eminems are the very most delicious to eat. I remember when I was young and I got my pudgy little hands on those kinds of eminems I would run straight up to my room and eat them alone in the dark and it felt soooo good. Just sitting there in my skin tight sweat pants, my wife beater top and my little gut rolling over the elastic band waist, just shivering in excitement. So I ask, why cant we all feel that way about each other’s music and why must we hate??

I know rappers and Eminem fans are generally an older generation than Avenged Sevenfold and heavy metal fans but young people are newer rock metal generation are passionate. Sure Eminems crowd is over 30+ and Avengeds is teens and early 20s just because you are older generation and likes rap music and don’t understand or like metal doesnt mean you should disrespect it or be ignorant I am young and still like both rap (that my parents got me into it) and metal(but mainly metal).
