He hit the stage fashionably late supposedly due to a fear of laser pointers. At first this sounded ridiculous to me but when you are a rap superstar with all sorts of beef with gangsters big and small (Ja Rule) I can see how a little red dot on your forehead could be a bit frightening! Eminem performed last Saturday at Scotland’s T in the Park and served a fire of a performance which definitely redeemed his punctuality.

Em performed a hit from almost of all his albums including his opening with “Won’t Back Down”, “My Name is”, “Kill You”, and “3am” from his Relapse album. Eminem shouted “Free Lil’ Wayne” right before he broke out with “No Love” the Lil’ Wayne collaboration on “Recovery”. He also paid respect to his late best friend and fellow D12 band member, Proof, by telling the crowd about the time they hoovered (She’s All That reference) “weed brownies” in Amsterdam and “started speaking in tongue”. lol

Em ended the night by thanking his fans:

“Everybody who’s an Eminem fan, I just wanna say thank you so much for the support you’ve shown over the years, for not giving up on me,” he said. “I hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did tonight. Peace.”

I cannot wait for the Eminem and Jay Z concert in the Bronx baby!!!
