Of course not! He is just dedicated to his art.  50 Cent has already made his mark on the rap industry, the movie industry, and even the thirst quench beverage industry.  50 Cent is a straight up mogul taking over one business after another but where is he now?  He is still everywhere, we just can’t see him because he is so damn skinny.  To prepare for his new movie roll, 50 has lost around 60 pounds!  50 is playing a college football player who is dying of cancer in the new movie “Thing Fall Apart”.  How did he lose all this weight? He used a liquid diet and daily 3-hour runs on a treadmill to lose the weight over a 9 week span. The movie is due to come out next year and he will be starring along Ray Liotta, Mario Van Peebles, and Lynn Whitfield.  I have to say when you are known for being an artist and you’re not getting much respect as an actor I think transforming yourself is the way to go, it worked for Maria Carey in ‘Precious’.  I think 50 looks very convincing in this picture so I’m really looking forward to seeing him dominate this role.
